Foundation Page

LA/NTMA recently started a foundation with the goal of aiding students toward careers in American manufacturing.

The Foundation exists to financially support education in manufacturing careers in the Southern California area.  It will provide educational scholarships for the benefit of students enrolled in institutions involved with machinist training as well as other disciplines which are vital in the operation of all sizes of manufacturing companies.  This effort is independent of, but in cooperation with, the Los Angeles Chapter of the National Tooling and Machining Association.

This Foundation, a 501 © (3) publicly supported charity, is formed to receive contributions of cash from any source and to use such donations to provide personal tuition payments on behalf of students.

The Directors of this Foundation are eager to engage in activities they consider important in the furtherance of this corporation’s intended mission. They are actively addressing the growing skilled worker shortage in the Southern California region.
